Followers of Jesus are invited to offer themselves to build up the Church. God has created each person with distinct and unique gifts, abilities, personality, and experiences. As followers of Jesus identify their uniqueness and serve in the Church, they will experience joy and satisfaction. The following are some of the areas in which you might consider serving.
First Impressions Team - This ministry is responsible for creating a warm and friendly environment at Exchange. Our outdoor greeters, welcome table greeters, and Kids check in all responsible for accomplishing that important mission.
Kids Ministry - This ministry brings the love of Jesus to the youngest (and greatest) in our church family. It serves children from infancy through 5th grade. Volunteer opportunities include teaching and nursery care to administrative, prep and planning. All of our kids volunteers are required to have extensive background checks and complete and application. We want our kids ministry to be the safest place in Wake County.
Worship Team - Serving on the Worship Team provides an opportunity to use your gifts and talents to help people awaken to the presence of God. A worship service consists of many parts including musicians, vocalists, and sound.
SetUp/Tear Down Teams - As you can imagine, we bring in a trailer every week and set up and tear down all of our equipment and classrooms. This has become a well oiled machine because of our great team that makes it happen. We would love your help keeping this running smoothly.
RHS Mentoring Program - This is one of the newest ministries at Exchange. We have mentors who meet regularly with Rolesville High School students for mentoring and tutoring. This is one more way we are attempting to help families and teachers flourish.
First Choice Ministries - Exchange is committed to standing up for those persons who can't stand up for themselves. We support First Choice Pregnancy Solutions in three ways: 1. We send our people to serve at the ministry 2. We participate in raising funds through 4000 Steps 3. We pray for and communicate regularly about adoption.
Adopt-a-Highway- Exchange has adopted a portion of Rolesville Rd which means we volunteer to walk it and pick up trash 4 times a year. We believe this is a simple way to be good stewards of our "home".
Contact Ed Martin if you are interested in serving in any of these capacities.
