PARTNERING WITH PARENTS TO MAKE DISCIPLES
One of our core values at Exchange is to Live & Thrive as a Family of Families. All we do as a Kids Ministry is seeking to encourage/equip each other as we disciple our children. Our hope is to have a simple, vibrant children’s ministry that: 1) Teaches kids the Story of the Bible in a Christ centered way. 2) Partners with parents in a realistic and tangible way. 3) Creates an environment that allows kids to be kids.
What classes are offered?

How do I know what the kids are being taught?
You will know exactly what they are being taught because you will be teaching it as well. Our goal is to equip parents to be the great disciple makers. On Sundays our teachers we will teach the overview of a lesson. Then we have provided you with the book which allows you to walk through up to 5 family devotions before next Sunday. These 10 minute devotions are really well done and make it very easy for us parents. The curriculum is called The Gospel Story Bible. One of our Kids Volunteers would love to connect with you and give you the book this Sunday.
Is it safe?
Our computerized check-in is very simple and helps make our kids ministry area extremely secure and safe. All of our Kids Volunteers have had extensive background checks. At check-in you and your child will receive an identification badge. For your child’s safety, we will not release a child under any circumstances unless picked up by a parent with the matching badge.
How do we Check-In?
Each Sunday, you will be greeted by Exchange Kids volunteers and asked to check your children in prior to walking them to their classroom. We use a unique and state-of-the-art check-in system on The City, our church’s communication network. You will receive two labels – one for each child to wear and one for you to keep during the service. At the end of the service, to ensure security of each child, we will collect your label and make sure it matches the child’s before sending them home with you.
